TORTURE DIVISION Completes Music For Three New Songs

June 4, 2009

TORTURE DIVISION, the new Swedish death metal project featuring guitarist Lord K. Philipson (THE PROJECT HATE, GOD AMONG INSECTS, ex-LEUKEMIA),bassist/vocalist Jörgen Sandström (VICIOUS ART, THE PROJECT HATE, ex-ENTOMBED, GRAVE) and drummer Tobias "Tobben" Gustafsson (VOMITORY),is preparing to record a new demo featuring the next three songs to be completed by the all-star lineup. Philipson says, "Wow, that went fast. Three new songs are now a 100% completed music-wise for the next demo, the first in trilogy number two. We will try our best to get this thing recorded during the summer and have Dan Swanö mix it in August or something (you know, the guy's a fuckin' busy mofo) like that. J will now start working on lyrics and whatnot, which is something we are looking forward to hear. The whole concept for the next trilogy is already thought out and we will continue to write songs whenever we have the time, but now it's time to start practicing these three so master-blaster Tobben can put down his wonderful grind'n'roll for the songs so we can move forward and get this fucker recorded."

TORTURE DIVISION's first demo trilogy — which was previously available for free download via the band's web site — was released on vinyl on April 6 via Vic Records. As previously reported, the recordings were also made available in CD format through Abyss Records. Entitled "With Endless Wrath We Bring Upon Thee Our Infernal Torture", the effort contains the band's "Suffer The Shitmass" seven-inch EP as bonus tracks.
